1. Talk about the problem first.

We say at Rise Social Media and as StoryBrand Guides that no one is listening until you are talking about a problem that they’re facing. 

Then go deeper.

2. Give the solution to the problem you just stated

Don’t give a long drawn out pre-amble. Make it short. People don’t want a long dissertation. They want to know if you can help them and they don’t want to waste their time. 

Make it sound like a new idea

3. It’s happy ending time but it must include how they will ‘feel’.

We call this ‘ramping up the success’. The thing is you want to do it in a way that makes them ‘feel’ something.
